Background


Samsung wants to create a better world that is filled with more full digital experiences. Samsung products promote social well-being by creating a new future. This is why specifically Slush with its 20,000 visitors is exactly the event a global technology company wants to attend. At Slush, Samsung is able to meet innovative start-up companies and share its solutions. Samsung is constantly seeking new cooperation opportunities where it can utilise open innovation and partnerships in order to develop society and improve the lives of people.


Implementation


Samsung has been one of Slush’s main partners already for five years and we have handled the design and construction of the exhibition booth, the content of the seminars and fair relations. For the 2018 Slush, we created the “Samsung Innovators’ Café”, a free café that featured Samsung start-ups as its main attraction. They are proof on how Samsung technology can be used to solve many different types of problems of today and make our lives easier. Samsung brought a record number of investors, innovators and partners from the United States, Korea, Tel Aviv, Paris, Berlin and the Nordics. We consider environmental values when building the exhibition booth: the stand was made of birch, so that after Slush it could be disassembled and delivered to recycling.


Results


Samsung created numerous contacts at the fair and we organised meetings with the media for Samsung representatives.  We received a lot of positive feedback from Samsung, their start-ups and visitors at the booth.
